New York Appleseed received an award from the New York State Bar Association as part of National Pro Bono Week, which recognized pro bono services for New Yorkers in financial crisis.

New York Appleseed received the New York State Courts Access to Justice Program’s Pro Bono Star Award also for its Volunteer Lawyer for the Day Consumer Credit Project. The awards event was held at the New York State Supreme Court.
